Yes, God has appointed shepherds over his flock but the only Shepherd who is perfect and carries ALL truth is the Great Shepherd, Jesus Christ.
However awesome a servant of God is, prepare to discover a flaw in them.
A flaw in their understanding or theology.
One that will be apparent to all; Why?
So you can remember that they are human. They’re not perfect.
And when you see their flaws, don’t make the mistake of putting them out there as though they fell off a pedestal. They weren’t supposed to be on one in the first place. Their flaw is part of the package and it is the reason why OTHER gifts in the body are relevant. Love them.
This also goes for music ministers.
Please, leaders in music ministry, STOP thinking you are IT alone! Your voice, your charisma, your style, your flavor, is beautiful yet fallible; and it is only ONE of the many God wants.
There is at least one flaw programmed in you.
Get comfortable because there will be more voices God will raise. Make room for others to bless those you’re in charge of before you become altogether irrelevant to them and ineffective.
If you don’t let someone else be able to fill the voids you naturally cannot, God will have His flock fed even if it means removing you.
